Last night at Amplify we took in a Nooma video on "Noise". I don't know why, but it seems that in times of corporate silence, God seems to speak very loudly. I was stoked to see so many of you hang around in the silence for soo long, praying and listening to God!

What did you think about this monday night? Was there anything particular that God was talking to you about?

There were two things for me. One was that I have such a hard time just spending time listening to God. Anytime that I do spend with God, is usually full of my prayers and songs, which is great - however I need to balance that out with times of listening. I also tend to full my life full of "noise", whether that be music or TV, or movies etc. I need to be more intentional about setting aside time to focus on God.

Also, the question about "do you find God's voice more interesting then the other voices around you" was really challenging to me. If I say that I do, what does that look like in my life?
