Forgiveness is a strange thing. Kyle and I had a good conversation about what exactly forgiveness is. We felt that it wasn't saying that whatever someone had done to you was okay, and it wasn't that you have to try to be buddy buddy with someone who's wronged you, or someone close to you. But saying that, it was still tough to define what forgiveness is.

In a sense, it's giving a pardon to someone who's done something wrong. That's what Jesus did for us, took our sins which deserved death and forgave them - pardoned us from what we deserve. However, can you forgive someone and still seek that there is justice served? Lots of tough questions, and I'd love to hear what you think about it all. The bottom line is that we're commanded to forgive each other, it is not optional.
